Tables Elimination Match

The Dudley Boyz v The Legion of Doom

Two of the greatest tag teams of all-time do battle in a tables match! Both members of a team must go through a table for the opposing team to win, and whether we'll be seeing two 3D's or two Doomsday Device's it's sure to be a hell of a match for the tag straps!

Image VS Image
Gorgeous George v Buddy Rogers
Gorgeous George, widely regarded one of the greatest heels of all-time takes on the original nature boy, Buddy Rogers! Who will win this old-school clash?

Image VS Image
First Time Ever
The Great Muta v Kenta Kobashi

These two legends of japan clash in a first-time-ever match between the two. Both are former APJW Triple Crown World Champions and both have gained massive respect from fans worldwide - but which man is better?

Image VS Image
Hernandez v Don Muraco
Hernandez is a star of today while Muraco was a star of the 80s. Both of them have made big impacts on the business and tonight they clash for the first time ever.

Image VS Image
Paul London v Naomichi Marufuji
What needs to be said? The Intrepid Traveller takes on one of the greatest wrestlers currently in japan. This high flying bout will no doubt put asses on seats, and have them hanging off the edge of the seats too!

Image VS Image
Billy Kidman v Brian Kendrick
Both have been tag team champions in their career and both have broken out as singles stars, and quick, high flying singles stars at that. Both are amazing talents; but which one has more in the tank? Which one is the better man?

VOTE GWA FOR THE RESULTS!

Post Re: GWA Presents... In The Spotlight V!
The card is FUCKING TERRIBLE!!! ........................... In bizarro world that is. :P

I like Kidman alot, I used to mark for him and The Filthy Animals back in the day, I was never big on Kendrick though. I liked him alot more when he had Paul London backing him up. Good match, really good opener. But I will say off the bat, your booking sorta annoys me. You go lightweight flash matches, build to big guys, the old school, the tag, then the double main event. Kinda plain to me, but doesnt really hurt anything. Just something that I noticed, slightly annoyed, but again, doesnt hurt anything really.

Match of the night, I dont care. Marufuji vs London. I dont think it happened in ROH because London was in WWE by the time Marufuji made his debut in 2007. great match, I love it. :good:

Hernandez vs Muraco. Blah... I like Hernandez, Muraco is OK. Im tryna think and I cannt see it being the best of match, to me (sorry if its not) kinda like it was, hey what the hey, lets do it, but I dont like it, worst match of the night.

AWESOME. AWESOME. AWESOME. As soon as you took Muta I said, hes gonna do Muta vs Kenta Kobashi. And I though, it HAD to have happened in Japan atleast once... I couldnt for the life of me come up with one, I searched online and everything. You my friend, have landed on a golden dream match. BRAVO.

Now, Dont get me wrong I like the match, but at the same time I dont, if that makes any sense. It be nice to see these legends go one on one, but it makes no sense as far as them being two heels. I cant picture either one of them as the face, why would anyone care about this match? How will you sell tickets? Come see the guy you hate vs the guy you hate even more??? LoL. I do love them both though, just not against eachother. Not a fan of heel vs heel at all.

If its a spot fest, I love this match. If not, ehh... take spot crazy Dudleys from ECW and the Attitude Era LOD, you got a great match. So to give you the benefit of the doubt, I will picture and rate the match as such. Good, heck great tag match.

You took a match, that was amazing beyond all belief, probably the best none main event in the draft, and you made it not so god for me. I mean I am baffled why it needs a gimmick. These two could put on a clinic and draw without the submission match. Furthermore, where does 60 minutes come from? 60 minutes is over kill, aside from Bret vs HBK which even though its my favorite match ever, Iron Man Match shouldnt be an hour. 30 minutes is more than perfect and I think guys like Rude, AJ Styles, etc have proven that. So my ranking for this comes down a bit because I see no need for the 60 minute iron man match, with subs only. Because for an hour, those sub attempts will become nothing more than rest holds and become tiresome. LESS IS MORE. If this was 30 minutes, even better a regular match, its match of the night.

Your main event is very, very good. Again, I do think gimmicks are over done this card. Standing alone Malenko vs Wolfe is amazing, standing alone Joe vs Austin is awesome, why make it HIAC? Either way, very good match, I really like it and I can see you being an easy contender to win this. Job well done my friend.

LOVE:
1. Paul London vs Naomichi Marufuji

Love, dont agree with stip:
2. Desmond Wolfe vs Dean Malenko

Very Good:
3. Samoa Joe vs Steve Austin
4. Kenta Kobashi vs Great Muta
5. Dudleyz vs LOD

Good:
6. TBK vs Billy Kidman
7. Nature Boy vs Gorgeous George

No...:
8. Hernandez vs Don Muraco

Couple of things I have to defend myself on (yet again lol)

1. I don't think I overdid the gimmicks. Only three matches are gimmicked and I think the majority of people will like the stipulations added. Malenko v McGuinness for 60 minutes in a Ultimate Submission match will be a wrestling clinic.

2. You may not like heel v heel, but I see George v Rogers as a heel v tweener match. Rogers has played face before, even though not for long, and I wouldn't dream of taking George's reputation as a heel away from him. So it's heel v tweener, I guess. Even so, this one is more about name value than anything.

3. I do tend to follow a certain pattern with my cards, but I'm sure you'll find others do to. It's just my style.

Wrestling clinic for 12 minutes to start and 25 minutes to end it, yea... But a whole hour and your gonna get a lot of slow stuff and rest holds. But just how I see it. I have seen hour long matches, thats how they go.

Your hyping Gorgeous George, which I like, props for showing love to the old school, but the thing is, Buddy Rogers is the mold that all heels are held to really. So I really cant see Rogers as a tweener. I know he was a face towards the end of his career, but the man is just an amazing heel. Before Flair, before The Rock, before Y2J, before CM Punk, before Austin Aries, it was Buddy Rogers.

And your booking isnt anything I am penalizing for, just thought I should mention theres an obvious pattern and I found it slightly boring. Hope you dont take too much offense to that.... But like I said, its cool, its fine. Still great card. :good:

I have always wanted to see LOD/Dudley Boys. I'm praying LOD wins the match when Animal powerslams bubba through a table.

Austin and Joe would be very good, Joe with the edge in mat skills, Austin in fighting skills, should be good to watch.

i like your card. It has good contrasts, especially with the old school match in the middle. It's an interesting strategy to post so early.

Best match for me:
LOD/Dudley Boys.

I don't give a fuck about Hernandez vs Muraco, but the rest of the card up and down delivers. Rhys has come quite a ways from a guy who posted first round exits into a drafter that puts up a potential winner. Bravo.

I gotta agree here man, I mean...you've got a ton of diversity in your card, Rhys. I like it a lot and I even dig on Muraco vs. Hernandez...I think Muraco would own Super Mex's face off but hey...it's still a solid match-up and would surely see some nasty lariats and surprisingly quick big-man action.

My only gripes are that I don't think Joe and Austin should be in a Cell match by any means...I'd like to see them in a 30 Minute match of some sort (doesn't have to be an Iron Man Match) and rather see Dean and Nigel go in a 2 out of 3 Falls match instead of going for an entire hour. I don't think I could handle McGuiness for an entire hour no matter how much I like his work...I just don't think that he could hold up with Malenko for an entire hour, he would just get grounded and pounded, you don't MESS with TEXAS, bitch. :)
