 Re: MOTN: 4-25-10 Extreme Rules
I voted for the Batista/Cena match. They didn't hold anything back in the match with table bumps, close close 9 counts and plenty of drama too. I laughed quite a bit when Batista threw a TV monitor at Michael Cole who then cried like a bitch "What.. What did he do that for?" Great stuff. I had one little pet hate about the match and that was Cena's miraculous jump ups when the referee reached 9... all that build to the count of 9 and he jumps up like Superman, very bad I thought. Apart from that, it was an excellent match and a worthy main event.
The rest of the matches were decent but some disappointed me abit. Rey/Punk had a very good match which could've been epic had they not held back. I was watching the match thinking it was terribly slow for two guys who are normally so fast paced... even the go home finish seemed slow. I think a final match in the series is yet to come because they held quite a bit back in this match. The Sheamus/HHH used a lot of storytelling with HHH's injury beforehand. You can only do so much in a street fight where there is no blood allowed and I thought this was a good way around it. The Extreme Makeover match was better than it had any right to be; it sounded like a complete disaster but the two ladies made it work and gave a real good match on the night. Shad/JTG had the crowd bored to death... it was an okay match but the crowd killed it. Edge/Jericho and Orton/Swagger were equally good matches; Swagger was put over well by Orton on the night as was Edge by Jericho... they had a wayyyy better Cage match in 2002 on Smackdown (anyone remember it?.. after the KOTR?), this wasn't anywhere near as good but it was decent. Tag Team Gauntlet was a fun opener, I enjoyed that alot and would've voted for it if it weren't for the awesome WWE title match.

Swagger v Orton for me. The whole show was a bit of a dud really, good but not great. The world title match was the only one to have any sense of uncertainty and the only one with the potential to mean anything to either of the guys. Tonight, everyone other than Swagger will be right where they were a week ago.
